By three months, most dogs feel secure and comfortable in their home. Their personality becomes more consistent, and true bonding with their family develops. Dogs are more confident, responsive to training, and able to engage in socialization and play. This stage marks the end of the "rescue dog honeymoon period," and the dog is generally well-adjusted to their new life.
